RSI Dream Communities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing housing solutions for essential workers in healthcare, education, and more. We bridge the gap for middle-income public sector employees by offering homes near where they work. Through innovative funding and a commitment to sustainability, we empower local heroes and strengthen communities – all without taxpayer dollars.
No taxpayer money is used by RSIDC. Instead, we use a “Philanthropic Venture Capital” model in which the organization is privately funded. The initial $100 million in private seed money from The Ronald M. Simon Family Foundation will help us remove barriers to development and ensure faster build times.
Our local heroes working for public sector employers like hospitals, schools, local government, and public institutions are essential middle-income earners, often unable to afford the high cost of living in the cities where they work. RSIDC offers a win-win situation for employers and employees: employers can retain and further recruit top talent to their cities and employees can pursue financially accessible housing.
RSIDC’s sustainable and innovative homes will be beautiful, single- and two-story homes incorporating advanced engineering principles. Organized around RSIDC’s core values, each development enhances its neighborhood with green spaces, picnic tables, courtyards, seating areas, and ample parking for communal living and recreation. Each unit is energy-efficient and eco-friendly, offering precision-built manufacturing, high-quality construction, and the latest modern amenities and technologies.
